Why not start with something a little “ribbiting” ~ my first pet was a frog on a string! We had a menagerie of pets during my childhood that fostered my love for animals. I started Mainely Sitters in 2016 during nursing school, and I’ve fallen head over heels for pets and their wonderful owners. I have more certifications than pets have treats to ensure your pets are in paws-itively great hands!

By day, I'm a paws-itively dedicated Special Ed teacher, and by night, I'm a proud cat mom to two purr-fect kitties, Monty and Goomba. I love spending time a-mew-sing myself outdoors in all seasons—rain, shine, or snow, I'm always up for a-paw-venture!

I’m a paw-sionate animal lover originally from Portland, ME, raised in Richmond, VA. I earned my zoology degree (with a splash of marine science!) and am currently diving into my master’s in marine mammal science at the University of Miami. I recently moved back to Maine for a fin-tastic internship with Marine Mammals of Maine, responding to strandings from Kittery to Rockland. I used to pet sit in NC and am tail-waggingly excited to care for your pets!

I’ve always been the go-to paw-son for pet sitting, caring for everything from dogs and cats to horses and fish! I’ve lived with a whole pack of breeds—Labs, terriers, pitties, Dalmatians, shepherds, Rotties, Samoyeds, Shih Tzus—and have hands-on experience with cats and horses, too.
